Amazing time, so much fun, great venue, loads of smiles and colors.

Irish Folk Park and Balloons – Catherine & Karl’s wedding in stunning Bunratty Castle Hotel ,Ireland

When Karl and I started to plan our wedding, one of the very first decisions we made was what kind of photographer we wanted. We both agreed that we wanted someone who would take great photos but also someone whose personality we would feel comfortable with. We both loved the natural, informal style of Mrs. Redhead’s wedding photography. We knew immediately when we met Olga that she would be the perfect fit for us.

When the big day arrived, Olga and Alex made everyone feel at ease and they blended seamlessly into every part of the day, from the morning preparations to the wedding ceremony, to the reception afterwards.

When we received the disc with the finished photographs (hundreds of them!), we were delighted that they perfectly reflected the relaxed, cheerful, colourful vibe of the day. We cannot thank Olga enough for the wonderful photos and we’re delighted to recommend her.

Both myself and Karl are pretty quiet and laid-back and we don’t really like too much of a fuss. We knew that we didn’t want a huge wedding but it was really important to us that our families and closest friends would be there to celebrate with us. Karl’s Dad is from Finland and we gave a subtle nod to his Finnish heritage by sourcing Marimekko dinner napkins. Marimekko is an iconic Finnish brand known for its bold designs and bright colours. I’ve grown to love it since I visited Finland with Karl a few years ago. I absolutely love bright colours and we thought it would be fitting for a Spring wedding to have lots of bright, vibrant colours. Tulips were our floral inspiration and we were absolutely blown away by the work that Amanda from Angel Flowers did in bringing our ideas to life. As I’m a librarian by trade, we also gave a little nod to that in the table settings that were so expertly crafted by Louise from Grace Events. When I spotted the library themed table numbers on Etsy, I knew we had to have them! Aoife from Fairyqueen Cakes knew exactly where I was coming from when I said I wanted a wedding cake that looked like a brunch ice-cream. We especially loved the cake topper she created which featured an oversize version of our beloved pet cockatiel Rocco!
